The previous model of Kia Rio has experienced many changes that helped him for better positioning in the market, but those changes don't bring the desired success. Now Koreans prepares major changes in the new Kia Rio 2017.

This is otherwise first official sketches, from them, we may well assume how will look new Kia Rio 2017 model. Of course, the wheels will not be so big, but the rest of the drawings should be fairly faithful to the original. Interestingly, it's retained the shape of the current model, but the designers have managed to reach the car looks very aggressive and sportier, without loss of functionality.

We can see from the drawings that there will be changes in the interior, the layout of the front console will now be much more modern, with a central console which houses a large touchscreen display. From the drawings, we still can't  assess what will be the quality of the materials, but expect an improvement compared to the current model.

From  Kia says that the new model will have much more technology inside and better driving performance - something from we are not impressed with the current model, which has a fairly poor management and lack of driving dynamics, at least compared to the competitors in the class. Based on the new Kia Rio 2017, Koreans plan and sporty GT model which is supposed to arrive in 2018.

The official promotion of the new Kia Rio 2017 will happen at the fair in Paris this year when we will know all the other details.

Ford Focus 2016 or VW Golf VII 2016 - Which car is with better design

Both models look modern and fresh, this model of VW Golf, unlike the previous model looks really much better, upgraded with some of those small details this VW Golf has received a sporty and really fresh and modern look. About Golf we don't like the that the changes from one model to another are very small, the difference from the previous model to currently tested is small, but enough to get a nice and modern design. The next generation of WV Golf maybe will look a bit different.  Ford Focus also looks good, but our reproach for not only  this model of Ford but on all models of Ford is the water nozzles that are placed on the hood. If you take a lighter color such as white or silver the water nozzles prick in the eyes. Maybe for some of the buyers, this detail is not important but we think that it is time Ford to find a solution for the water nozzles to be fitted on another place like in other cars and not to be placed on the hood. In the design section, the VW Golf VII will be the winner. 

Ford Focus 2016 or Golf VII 2016 - Size and Practicality

Very important things when buying a new car that will serve as a family car are the dimensions of the car and the size of the luggage compartment. The driver and front seat for the passenger have enough room for tall people, but on the back seat at Ford Focus is a little more difficult for taller passengers to sit. To make the car sportier the tuned rear is slightly lowered and therefore the space for height is limited. The knee space is insufficient for higher passengers. For the passenger who should sit in the middle, there will be no problem for projections because it is well settled. In WV Golf has no problem with the size of passengers but it is more difficult for the passenger who will have to sit in the middle if there are three passengers in the back seat.

Both cars have enough space for leaving all kind of stuff be we must praise the Golf here because it really has enough hurdles to accommodate many things and they are coated with a quality material for hard objects do not knock when the car moves. The boot is larger in Golf.

Both cars have advanced engines that are quiet with low emissions and consumption of which is low, especially for diesel models. The Ford Focus is very fun to drive, it handles very well and is has kind of sporty fell when you seat behind the steering wheel. When you drive the Ford Focus at higher speed you can hear the tires and the wind, that is a minus on who the people from Ford need to work a little bit. The Golf is also good to drive but is not that fun as the Focus. It also handles very well and it is quieter than the Focus. Driving position is good and the seats are comfortable.

When we open the driver's door we meet with a traditional interior sportiness. The combination of black and brown leather panels acting luxurious and refined and the seats are extremely comfortable. Easy to find the right driving position - sit low, close to the ground, as in the best sports cars and big Ghibli like he wraps himself around me. Yes, we definitely can spend many, many kilometers in this car.

On the rear seats, comfortable will travel two passengers, it is enough spacious, although some competitors have more legroom. However, available remain the same 550 liters of luggage space as in the diesel version, which is more than enough.

With 3-liter twin-turbo V6  originating from FERRARI with 404-horsepower and from 0 to 100 km/h it goes for 4.8 seconds, this Maserati Ghibli S Q4 2016 is a beast.

Now let's talk a little bit about the engine and the experience behind the wheel. Under the front cover hides modern (and "vocal") 3-liter Twin-Turbo V6 petrol engine. Engine (that Ferrari prepares for the Maserati!) delivers 404 horsepower at 5,500 rpm and excellent torque of 550 Nm available from just 1750 rpm.

 Power is transferred to all four wheels thanks to the Q4 system, for changing gears there is an 8-speed automatic transmission originating from ZF. Of course, if you want you can manually to change gears via paddles mounted behind the steering wheel - and if you choose to do that you will be rewarded with significantly greater driving involvement and sound effects that will make the hairs on your arms to go up.

OK, start the engine and you immediately know very clear that the car is awakened and ready. Start to drive and experience is extremely civilized - does not have the nervousness that demands respect when driving a car with 400 horsepower. If you play a little with the settings that allow Ghibli -  put the car and suspension in Sports mode, and the character immediately changed. The suspension is stiffer, the reaction to the accelerator is strengthened, the transmission is a more aggressive and the sound ..the sound is something else. Although the engines have a turbocharger and the engines with turbochargers tends to be a bit overstocked, the sounds coming from Ghibli is like nothing else in the class!

If you work right with a gear this 3-liter V6 readily releases 404 horsepower when you ask him. Surprisingly, the car applies neutrally and no pronounced bias towards any understeer. Sure, if you exaggerate, the back is ready to play in - but it all comes naturally and predictably controlled and the sensitive steering wheel gives confidence in the possibilities of Ghibli. Intelligent drive to all four wheels in normal driving modes transmits power only to the rear wheels, but when the car notice that it is necessary transfers to 50% to the front.

Thanks to turbo-petrol, 100 km/h arriving in 4.8 seconds and a maximum speed is 284 kilometers per hour. This car is not slow! Of course, all this is accompanied by adequate consumption - Maserati Ghibli officially claims that combined will spend 9.8 liters per 100 kilometers. Drive conservatively and expect about 15 liters per 100 kilometers in city conditions. Drive more aggressively - and the sky is the limit.

Maserati Ghibli simply wants to be a sports car. It wants to be maximized and it offers excitement only Italian nature can provide. If diesel version of Ghibli is a little more rational, exotic and comfortable cruiser, then petrol Ghibli S Q4 is one, crazy alternative. Here beats an exotic  and powerful heart, shrouded in a modern, sharp Italian suit.

Fiat Tipo 1.3 MJT 2016 Test - Manageability / Comfort

While driving the first few kilometers we are convinced that in the setting of the suspension, the Fiat engineers had in mind the bumpy roads. The suspension absorbs great cross holes and bumps and does not drain too much sound inside while driving on asphalt flatter, on the highway is extremely comfortable, with no major movements of the body up - down. Overall, a really comfortable car that's great adapted to each type of roads.

Driving dynamics is a bit weaker, which is expected in a family car. We were especially pleased because of the comfort doesn't suffer the full stability of the car - driving safely without skidding on the front and back end, except in marginal situations when the front runs out of the bend, which can be adjusted by releasing the accelerator pedal.

In translation, in the New Fiat Tipo, we should not expect to have fun driving - is not intended or designed for that purpose. Therefore, comfort and driving safety are at the highest level, and these are the features that set apart from competitors that fail to achieve such a good balance between these two characteristics.

Diesel engine what Tipo has is a little louder in stronger accelerations but subsidies at higher speeds. The sound of the wind and the tires is well insulated, especially if we have on mind the class, the passengers have no problem talking normally in the cabin even at speeds of 130-140 km / h. The engine has little vibration while idling, but it gets quiet while drives, the suspension does not transmit a lot of vibration inside. Given the class, Tipo is a rather refined car again, maybe better than all competitors in its price range.

Tipo has been specifically designed to offer maximum space and convenience for driver and passengers. Therefore, the cabin is extremely spacious and the front and rear seats -in the back there will be no problem to accommodate taller passengers. The boot has 520 liters, which we believe is enough for a family of four and all bags for summer holidays.

What is impressive are all the places where we can place trinkets inside. All are set in the right place - for example, we can place the smartphone in a front of the gearbox, which is an infinitely better solution than putting the smartphone in the armrest or in a drawer. Realistically, we all want our smartphones to be available at any time.

Simplicity in the cabin continues in the layout of the controls - all are well placed, large and legible and always at hand. Touch screen, although there are weaker graphics and does not look that modern,  it's extremely easy and intuitive to use, and for those who like hardware buttons, they are placed around the touchscreen and additionally simple to use.

We have solid position behind the wheel - here almost everyone will find the ideal position. The seats are comfortable for long journeys and only lack in the full ergonomics is more tenuous visibility when parking in tiny places, so the recommendation is parking sensors.

The basic equipment of the Fiat Tipo includes the entire set of electronic stability control (ABS + EBD, VSC with Hill Holder, TMPS control system for tire pressure), four airbags, air conditioning, central remote, front electric windows, height and depth adjustment of the steering wheel, front armrest, lumbar support on front seats, height adjustment of the driver's seat, dividable rear seat, radio with MP3, USB, AUX and steering wheel controls. According to price class, the basic model is excellently equipped and there are no major flaws in the equipment.

The new Fiat Tipo has low fuel consumption - the small diesel is extremely frugal. On average, we measured the consumption about 5 liters (4.2 factory) in the city measured the 6 to 6.2 liters (5.2 factory) depending on traffic and on open road we measured 4.2 liters (3.5 factory ) or the Interstate 5 liters. Impressive for a family sedan.
