One of these cars is the new Citroën C-Elysee, one of models that have yet to find on the market. In the same "basket" with the Peugeot 301, Škoda Rapid and Seat Toledo, the latest Citroën announces tough competition in the market of this segment.
With the look and size, the basic needs are met - for an affordable price, you get a family car with attractive design. The announcement of the 1.2-liter VTi engine with 72 hp, it is certainly welcome, because this engine should not spend more than 6 l/100 km, when it comes to fuel consumption.
Durability and longevity should be the main features of the C-Elysee. Tested on all possible surfaces in all possible weather conditions, through all possible parts of the world. It has length of 4.430mm and lavishly wheelbase of 2.650mm, so with this dimension, this car is one of the largest in the class.
Inside - typical of Citroën, with the addition of interesting details. The space inside is what most delights, along with 506-liters of luggage space.
As regards the engine, 1.2-liter VTi, as mentioned above, is coupled with a 5-speed manual transmission as the only option. It is optimized primarily for low consumption - declared 5 l/100 km. More powerful 1.6-liter VTi 115 hp, is one that needs to lead by performance when paired with a manual transmission as standard and automatic as an option. But if consumption is your primary concern, the model for you is the 1.4-liter diesel, with fuel consumption of only 4 l/100 km.
